Fire Escape is an entirely student-run organization that is governed by an eight-person Committee. The Committee meets every week, and is in constant communication via e-mail. Together, its members keep the organization running. The Committee is elected by Fire Escape members at the end of Winter quarter, and serves through the following Winter. Any member of Fire Escape may run for office.

CO-CHAIRS
The Co-Chairs are responsible for organizing meetings, communicating with the club via the listhost, working with the University administration to further the club’s interests, supporting the other officers, and in general making sure everything is running smoothly.

FINANCE CHAIR
The Finance Chair is in charge of club finance, and acts as the University Administration contact.

EQUIPMENT CHAIR
The Equipment Chair coordinates reservations for Fire Escape’s equipment, and makes sure that equipment is where it should be when it should be.

FESTIVALS CHAIR
The Festivals Chair is responsible for organizing Fire Escape Festivals, such as the 48-Hr. Film Festival in Winter Quarter.

EDUCATION CHAIR
The Education Chair organizes quarterly educational workshops for the club, including a regular faculty critique of student work. In addition, she organizes intro projects.

PUBLICITY CHAIR
The Publicity Chair advertises and promotes Fire Escape meetings and events.

OFFICE CHAIR
The Office Chair is in charge of keeping the Fire Escape Office organized, clean and full of love. He also maintains the Office computers, and runs the website.
